Witness an evolution in gaming as FINAL FANTASY XI becomes the first cross-platform massively multiplayer online role-playing game.
The first step in your adventure is to create your character's traits, including race, gender, face, hair color, body size, job, and nationality. This will become your on-screen "alter ego" in the world of FINAL FANTASY XI.
The classic Job System of the FINAL FANTASY series returns in FINAL FANTASY XI. You can acquire a wide variety of abilities with various jobs -- and even discover new jobs as you play!
Rumor has it that with the proper training, Vana'diel adventurers can become paladins, bards, and rangers. What other jobs will you be able to discover?

When you board the airship and the screen is on Steiner in the front of the ship, in the background clouds you can see the Final Fantasy symbol fly by every few seconds.

Response to Post#1:
Make sure you talk to the little girl that saw the pickpocket, she'll give you an eagle button that the thief dropped, then go out in West Ronfaure and you'll find a small tower in the west side. The thief is hiding there, but she'll say something like "prove it", just give her the button and she'll confess and give you the gold rimmed glasses.

For quests where you have to trade with multiple NPCs, like the one where you have to hand out Magicshop flyers to the townsfolk in the Elvaan city, all you have to do is walk near them.
They will "Look over curiously for a moment", these are the ones that you need to trade with, so don't waste your time trying to trade to every NPC.

Does anyone know where the Pickpocket from the Port went to? I asked the guards and it seem to lead to the Western Gate out of town...
