Defender: The classic space shooter is back! Now for the first time you can play Defender on Xbox Live®. Protect the humans on the planet surface by destroying the invading alien abductors.

In the future, the galaxy is invaded by hostile alien forces. Attacking in countless swarms, the aliens decimate any planet they encounter. Those who survive the initial invasions are harvested and forced serve the alien invaders. Mankind's only hope lies in you, the Defender!

* Classic and enhanced modes: Play this arcade classic the way it was back in the day, or play it with sound and visual enhancements for next-gen.
* Full Xbox Live support: Access leaderboards for single player, versus, co-op, and weekly stats, and earn 12 achievements for a total of 200 gamerpoints.
* Multiplayer mania: Test your skills against rivals or team up with your friends. Play on or offline in co-op or versus mode, combining your scores or matching them against each other for the win.

Cooperation - GamerScore 10:
Xbox Live Co-Op game get a score of 15,000.

One Wave - GamerScore 10:
Without losing any humans get to the 2nd wave.

Getting Better - GamerScore 15:
Get to the 3rd wave.

Fifteen Grand - GamerScore 15:
Obtain a personal score of 15,000.

Competitive - GamerScore 15:
Win 30 Xbox Live versus games.

Nice Catch - GamerScore 15:
Rescue a human with a mid-air catch.

Baiter Bane - GamerScore 20:
Xbox Live Co-Op game, kill 5 baiters in any level without using any smart bombs.

Run! - GamerScore 20:
Without shooting, bombing or teleporting survive the first 75 seconds.

Five Waves - GamerScore 20:
Get to the 5th wave.

Protect All Humans - GamerScore 25:
In the first 3 waves lose no humans.

Twenty-Five Grand - GamerScore 25:
Obtain a personal score of 25,000.

Complete the following achievements to unlock Xbox Live Gamerscore points.

Unlockable: Condition:
Baiter Bane (20 points) - During an Xbox Live Co-op game, kill five baiters in any level without using any smart bombs.
Competitive (15 points) - Win 30 Xbox Live versus games.
Cooperation (10 points) - Get a score of 15,000 during an Xbox Live Co-Op game.
Fifteen Grand (15 points) - Get a personal score of 15,000.
Five Waves (20 points) - Make it to the fifth wave.
Getting Better (15 points) - Make it to the third wave.
Mutant (10 points) - Shoot five mutants in one game.
Nice Catch (15 points) - Rescue a human with a mid-air catch.
