Mercenaries is a revolutionary, 3rd person action-shooter game set in the near future and inspired by real world events. On the eve of a historic reunification of North and South Korea, a ruthless general stages a military coup to take control of North Korea and threatens the world with nuclear war. The international community launches a global task force to stabilize the region. However, when diplomatic efforts collapse and the region descends into anarchy they announce a one hundred million dollar bounty on the North Korean general and his top military and scientific advisors. The targets are identified in a “most wanted” list in the form of a 52-card deck of playing cards. As one of the top operatives for a private mercenaries company called Executive Operations, you have been called in to collect on these bounties.

If you select something from suplies on merchant of menace, as soon as you through the beacon go to the suplies again and pick something different and exit out of the shop and the first one will be free, you can do this as many times as you want and they are free.

Although the jet planes are really annoying, you should put the invincibility cheat on and explore the "restricted areas". The landscapes are really interesting, especially the one south of SK HQ in the northern province, because if you swim far south enough, you will fall out of the water onto land, and it appears as if the water was floating above you. Very cool... check it out.

Top 5 suckiest possible ways to die:
(These have ALL happened to me)
1: Getting crushed by the mafia garage door
2: Your chopper stalling over the ocean because the winch got caught in the blades
3: Getting run over by the car you just bailed from
4: Purposely jumping off a 17 story building because you thought you had the invincibility cheat on
5: Blasting yourself with an rpg because you thought you had your assault rifle out.

Got a damaged chopper, but dont want to pay for repairs? No problem. Just land it on the Mafia's helipad, hijack a car and go kill some north koreans. Come back later, go up to the helipad, and enter the helicopter. It should be in perfect shape, as well as having full ammo.

After verifying all the cards (number cards, face cards, and aces) from the Deck of 52, a Cheat Crate will be unlocked. It contains three different super-powered weapons and the Portable Air Strike.
Collect 20 national treasure bounties to play as Han Solo.
Collect 110 blueprint bounties to play as Indiana Jones.
Successfully complete the game, then verify General Song (the Ace of Spades). Save the game when prompted. Load that saved game to start the game again with all money and support items previously collected. This is playground of destruction mode.
Choose a mission. Park a damaged vehicle in the base where the mission is located, accept the contract, then immediately cancel it. Select "No" at the "Retry" menu. Your vehicle will be repaired with full ammunition at no cost.

Sinuiju glitch: Go to Sinuiju downtown while the South Koreans are still there. If you are observant enough, you should realize that the tanks traveling along the streets are actually moving backwards
Kill scout drivers easier: If you are close enough to a sungri scout, and you are short on ammo, an easier way to kill the driver and gunner is to get up really close and bash them while there still inside the car.

i like mercenaries playground of destruction it is like the best game in the wourld.
i hope they make a sequal of the game it will probably be the best yo.
