you will need at least 19000 gold for this to work.

1. go to oakvale and buy the house for 9000 gold

2. upgrade the house decoration twice.

3. get your 2 most valuble trophies and mount them in the wall inside.

4. smash the doors oh your house.

5. sell the house for more value than when you bought it.

6. go inside the house and take back the trophies

7. the go bac and buy again.

* jus keep reapeating until u get loads of money.
if you continue this for 1h you will have over 1000000 gold

So you need your Guile 3 or higher to do this. you go to Oakvale (at nite)and break down the wepons or misc. shop door. the guards will fine you. so you can steal armor and wepons or misc. but if the guards hit you to many times you will pay the amount of money you have and be kicked out of the area. hope this helps you => =) =>

ok so everybody here is stupid. Just, if your not too scared to do so and have a little extra time, do what i say. When you are in the teenage years of your life in the Guild do the tests for the magic stuff the sword stuff and the bow stuff. You'll get a crossbow, katana, resurrection phial, and mana potion. Sell them all when you graduate. Also, when you have to do the "Final Test" with Maze you can hit him with the bow from a distance, giving you skill experience, and can hit him with a Steel melee weapon (this will cut you off a few hundred gold and kinda mess up the rest of what im saying though).

Once you graduate and the Guild Master tells you to level up, level up in guile as much as possible and if possible do so in speed and health first. But guile is first priority. Now after that go to Bowerstone South and sell all your stuff but the Iron Longsword. Use the Guild clothes and the iron longsword and yew longbow as your weapons.

Go through Greatwood and Darkwood to Oakvale. Kill all the enemies, go to the Fisher's Creek area off of the Greatwood Entrance area, and the Hobbe Caves for a little while. Get a lot of experience and once in Oakvale teleport back to the Guild. Level up more in Guile as much as possible than anything else you want.

Next, sell all the stuff you have (food and the stuff from chests) in whatever shop you want. You'll have a bit of money. Go back into Greatwood and Darkwood and again walk to Oakvale. Again sell the food and potions and stuff and level up. Then go to either Oakvale to the general shop or find a trader that sells emeralds. If you can buy more than a half of the emeralds you should be fine. Buy and sell the emeralds, or if you cant do it with emeralds try potions or cider crates or grain sacks or whatever is cheap but plenty. Once you get enough to buy enough emeralds do the same, buying and then selling back for a profit, for a while. Once you get like a couple ten-thousands of gold keep the emeralds then go to Oakvale, buy it's emeralds and buy a house (dont upgrade it).

Sleep in the bed in your house in Oakvale until the emeralds are restocked. Once restocked buy them all then again sleep. Do this a couple of times. Then go back to the shop and sell the hundred or so emeralds you should have and buy them back then sell...ect. Do this however long you want. You'll get quite a bit of money at least if your guile is level 3 or above. Then buy your armour from the sword and amour shop across the way of the Oakvale general store. Also, the Guild has master weapons in its shop.

From there go ahead and either raid Oakvale and buy out all of its houses or go ahead on to the story lines.
