when you beat the game get at least legolas aragorn and gimli to level 20 or higher than level 10 then if someone wants to play with you then go to coop and go to load instead of new and load your last saved game on single player and play paths of the dead and you will find they will be the same level they were on single player

At the Crack of Doom (last level) the bridge is a safe spot. Gollum doesn't usually go there. That means if you stay on the bridge you'll be safe... usually.
