Cheat Codes/Unlockables

Melee-if stationary takes away 3/4 shield, need 3 hits to kill
-if moving takes away 7/8 shield, need 2 hits to kill
-if jumping takes away whole shield, need 2 hits to kill

Look sensitivity-put your look sensitivity where u feel most comfortable, keep increasing it as u get more comfortable, a look sensitivity around 5-7 is what most people use, if u can play properly with a higher sensitivity great

Know your maps-a good way to get the feel of a map is to play a game i made called tag, basically spawn everyone with a plasma pistol while playing oddball, make the ball carrier speed normal

Double nade: Over heat a plasma pistol, wait for your arm to shake and then hit grenade twice

Button combos-theres a lot of button combos in halo 2 that can help u survive when used at the right times

BXR- melee, cancel animation, shoot, this can be done using every gun but works best with battle rifle, carbine or pistol, if using carbine or pistol your melee must hit while moving or jumping for your opponent to die.

BXB- melee, cancel animation, melee, make sure not to press X too fast or else your melee will not even hit it's target, this combo works best when your weapon clip is not full 2 hits will kill if first melee was done by moving or jumping

BYB- melee, switch guns, melee, this is basically the same as BXB however if done correctly this can actually be faster than BXB, this is a little more difficult however

RRBXR- shoot shoot, melee, cancel animation shoot, this is how you can BXR if you do not have a full clip (battle rifle only) If you rush this combo, it can also be used as an alternative way of doubleshooting

RRX- the double shot/auto reload - this is a little more difficult but is extremely handy to learn, this combo allows you to fire two bursts instead of one, this will allow you to win a br battle if you are down one shot.note:carbine can do this as well however it isnt nearly as effective

RRX YY RRX(need two guns)- the quad shot- One of the hardest button combos however one of the most useful, this just about doubles your firing rate if done correctly, you can "double shot" your entire clip by quadshotting, this also leads to a two shot kill

RLXXRRR...-The auto reload(while shooting) fire one bullet, throw a grenade, hit X twice while your arm is moving and keep firing. Works with several guns, best with sniper or carbine, This allows you to fire 7 sniper rounds without having to reload, and will let you fire your carbine endlessly without reloading

RRY-the suicide shot, if you use this combo while running forward, you will shoot yourself in the head, if you do this 4x or grenade yourself first then RRY, you will "gaurdian glitch" this will kill you however you will not lose points, not have a respawn penalty, get a new spawn, get new full ammo.(battle rifle only)

My Tip: Try playing on boxer control settings, this allows you to BXB and BXR slightly faster, and allows you to aim your BXR and BXB since your thumb does not need to come off the joystick
-Also try playing claw(this is what i do) This is where you use your right middle finger to pull the trigger, and your right index finger to push ABXY, this allows you to quadshot, bxr, bxb without ever taking your thumb off the joy stick, this is easily the most advantous way of playing halo 2.(and most other games as well) also try playing on southpaw if you try claw, this allows you to doubleshot easier since your index fingers are stronger then your middle fingers

Hello, I'm Marvin, AKA the easter egg king. Today I will tell you how to get the Mythic Skull, which would make the difficulty harder than Legendary. Go to the level Sacred Icon on Legendary difficulty. Progress until you get to a room completely filled with green fog. Turn on your active camo so the flood don't see you. Now, go forward and jump on the 6 or 7 crates that are stacked up. Jump onto the highest one, and jump onto a ledge. There should be one flood with a magnum or something. Go to the very end of the ledge, where there is a huge thing where the flood jump out of. Floating above a dead flood is the Mythic Skull. Thank you for joining me.

Grunt Birthday Party Skull:
Go to the level Arbitor on Legendary difficulty.
Progress until the first time you fly a banshee.
If you fly directly down, you will notice 3 fat cylinder-like structures. Fly to the one in the middle. If you go under a flat roof-like thing, you see 6 grunts dancing arount the Grunt Birtday Party skull. When you shoot an enemy in the head, they will explode. This is the most useful skull in the whole game!

first play a multiplayer game in cogulation. have a rocket launcher when you start by going to game setup then giuck options then primary weapon and scroll down to rocket launcher. get the rocket launcher and return to the game start start the game . then have another player get in a ghost and drive to the big hill by the trees. drive on top and stay their than have you go to the hill also. stand 10-15 steps away from him. make sure the aimer is red when you lock on to him hold down the fire button and aim next to him about 2 meters away from him let go and the rocket should spin around you. NOTE: iam a little up wards

first you must have an energy sword. then have the energy sword out and get in the passenger side of the warthog. then have another player stand close enough so the aimer is red. attack them once. nothing should happen except for a sword slashing niose. have the other player go to the other side of the map. use the aimer to piont where you want to go then when your ready press X to step out of the warthog and you will fly to your destination. NOTE: you can use this cheat in multiplayer level like cogulation and use it anywhere on the map!

These are just a groop of great tactics to use during the game.

1. When there are a pack of grunts or jackles throw a grenade. Unlike elites they are to dumb to know the grenade will kill them.

2. A good sniping spot is a place far from the enemies (where they cant shoot you).

3. Try to keep your the marines alive by... using yourself as their shield (remember you are wearing a shield they are not).

4. When there are hunters try to use explosives (but not grenades).

5. The scorpoin has a secondary gun it con be usfull when the cannon is reloading.

6l. For hunor gaurds try duel wielding 2 SMGs.

Mega Tank Spin on Coagulation.

First, set the quick options to carry tanks. Second, have one person get in a Wraith and the other person get in a Scorpion. Have one person drive over to Red Base. Position your tanks toght in front of the cliff.Third, get your tanks to line up in front of each other. Fourth, the Wraith person, back up just a little, then move up and both move up. Last, right when the Scorpion is on top of the Wraith, boost the Wraith. The Scorpion should go flying up in the air spinning like crazy! It might take a few tries to get it right but eventually it'll work!
