Location: Louisiana | To unlock the NPC's as characters: (I only know three now so bear with me.)
Nergiling and Mutant Chicken: Beat all the missions and beat story mode with every usual character in the game. You will unlock the Nerguling and the Mutant Chicken.
Viking: After completeing story mode with every regular unlockable character, go to the credits in extras. Destroy every letter in the credits by punching it, flamethrowering them (hint: Flamethrow Billy; he will destroy every letter he touches), and use Thor's hammer to destroy groups of letters that go above you with the "y" button attack. Good luck with it.
