Do not fall into the hole by the smith's shop. If you wake the bat by sprinkling magic powder he will cut your magic power in half. I sitll beat the game, just found out the hard way. Good luck all.

To get into the desert, you have to go the to the library in Hylia Village and knock down the book by running into the bookcase. Take the book to the desert and use it when against the pedestal to decipher the foreign language and gain access.

in the dark world the 7th pendent icant get past a certain part i have been in every room in the big room the one with a lot of torches i got through there but i cant get past there wat do i do??

to get the library book(book of mudora) you need the pegasus shoes to run really fast, then go to the library and run into that shelf.
You find the moon pearl in the tower of the red pendant in the big treasure chest.
to get past the wizard, just use the master sword to deflect his lightning attack back at him.
The hookshot is found in one of the later treasure chests in a castle in the dark world(maybe like 3, or 4, or 5, cant remember which).
