I had problems with the cheat gnome to. go to the park and enter L L R X X UP. after go next to the bathroom at the left you will see the cheat gnome. press x and you will see a blank option, that is the cheat gnome. control pet means the dogs will sniff you and the cats will either do nothing or chase you.

id like to say the cheats do work but u have to do it a way i think i sat on bench in town and it worked but u have to keep doing it try all of them dont give up keep trying
