During the "runaway dioblos" quest go to area 10 and stand on the ledge. have blos run into the wall and it'll get its horns stuck. jump down and attack his legs.
use these items

10 sonic bombs,20 gunpowders and 20 screamers, bring 1 max potion, and two demondrugs

use frost edge+
and full body dioblos armor

for the loa shan quest i suggest using a hammer with atleast 732 attack.you wont need very much armour because i can do this in vespoid armour.all you have to do is attck it till its heading to area 5 then when its in between 4 and 5 go get a cannon ball.once you can see it blow it up with the cannonball.and stay up there.once the loa shan gets closer it should stad up that when you use ballista now just before it hits the fort (standing up)use the dragonater.then get down and beat the living #*%^ out of its stomach

Ok here's the low down on how to help with W.o.L.a.S get 2 (max) Lg barrel bomb+ (lg barrel bomb + Monster Broth(Alchemy, monster fluid + bitterbug)), 3(max) Lg barrel Bombs, 10(max) sm barrel bomb, pitfall trap, 2 nets(ivy + spiderweb), 2 trap tools, Max potions and Mega Potions, Powercharm, Powertalon(powercharm + sm Lao-Shan Claw), Armorcharm, Armortalon (Armorcharm + sm Lao-Shan Claw) all in your invintory. When your in the mission set down a pitfall trap and try to get the RATHIAN (but if you get the rathalos thats alright) to fall into the trap BOMB THE H*LL out of it and then run around like and idiot(that doesnt get hit) and mix another pitfall trap and re-do the luering and bombing(if you have no bombs left CUT THE B*stard!!) and then most likely youll have no more ingreadiants for trap so just fight the wyvern you broght down till the thing is dead then HOPEFULLY you can kill the other one!!! Good Luck!!!
***Hint: Best thing is to master the great sword combo(tap triange then tap square then tap trangle and so on) and got this armor and wepon:
Wep: Judgement (Attack: 1104)
Helm: Garuga Helm S (Def:36)
Armor: Steel Mail S (Def:32)
Gloves: Steel Vambros U (Def:32)
Skirt(waist): Velocipray Tasset (Def:28) (go through garuga mission and killl and carve the velocopray)

Boots: Hi-Metal Greaaves S (Def:30)

But if u got better attack or Defence go with that.

Ok there is a gathering quest on your 1 star tab that you will have to farm some kebi horns if you stay in this quest and keep killing kebi you can hold i beleave 99 or so horns and hides. horns go for 50+ and hides go for 30+ good way to make lots of money at low level >sorry for spelling<

If you've got quite a bit of Velociprey items ,and you have completed the Velocidrome mission, I would consider going to the weapons craftshop and getting the vile serpent blade. It usually kills small monsters with one hit.

If you are on your first hunt don't attempt it till you have got at least these items; chain plate, chain greaves and a weapon other than the hunter knife (Iron Hammer is probably most useful at this point). After you have got those items or better now would be a good time to kill them three Velociprey.
Great they're dead, easy right? From the reward you should get either;
Velociprey Scale,
Velociprey Hide,
Velociprey Fang,
Or any mixture (all three if your lucky).
Now go to the farm and mine, you should get at least one piece of iron ore.
Now you have the stuff to make a piece of Velociprey armor, don't worry if you don't though, if you can make some at the armorer.
Just keep repeating this untill you have got the items to make full velociprey armor, it's an excellent starting armor!! I did this and I found that it is a great strategy. (Just make sure you have the money to make the armor aswell)


Now go kill them monsters!!!
