Area 51 is the only action-packed 1st person shooter set in the U.S. governments most secret and secure military facility. The U.S. Army has received a distress signal from Area 51 where a viral outbreak has just shut down the research facility and the automated quarantine procedures have locked all scientific and military personnel inside.
A small Special Forces unit led Specialist Ethan Cole of HAZMAT (hazardous materials) Division is sent to investigate. As Cole, players will delve into five massive levels within the confines of Area 51, discover a mutagenic side effect of the virus that controls the minds of those infected, as well as an ancient alien colony buried beneath the facility. With a multitude of human and alien weapons, players must explore chilling conspiracies such as the extraterrestrial crash at Roswell and the faked lunar landing, in order to solve the enigmas of Area 51 before the viral mutagen is released and irrevocably mutates all life on earth.

Secret tapes
Scanning all five databank items in each stage yields one secret. Completing the game yields one secret.
Secret Rooms
Level 2: Shoot all the highest windows in the far wall in the hangar. When you are in the truck, shoot all yellow barrels, and you will discover another secret room.
Level 4: When you are driving on the STAAR jeep, shoot every yellow box.
Level 5: Shoot the sign which shows the words General Weatherby on the second door right away when this door opens.
Level 7: Shoot all yellow barrels in the first area where the four purple zombies are throwing barrels.

OK well for 1 to mutate just push up on the D-Pad.
JUst remember you cant mutate until the point where you get injected when you go inside the giant tube thingy. Until then you wont have control over when you mutate.
2: To turn on your flash light push R3 (left analog stick pushed down)
And im having trouble at the part right after the turrets in the "Buried Secrets" level. After the point where you kill all the snipers and stuff just after the turrets, how do you get into that room with the button inside? Not the button that opens the gate under the terrets the one after that.It looke i have to climb down a ladder on the roof but i cant get on the roof.

My friend said that theres a cheat code for night vision. Any one who sees this plz tell me any cheats!:( Maybe there isnt any cheats! Darnit!

Dude jared your friend is evil or cruel. There is no night vision. But if your stuck on the first level with the cubicles just turn on your flashlight with any weapon. And one thing to the moderator: PLZ FIND SOME STUFF TO FILL UP THE AREA 51. I saw some stuff on another gaming sight, maybe you could copy thiers. But thats just my idea.

Interesting scans
In the training area scan everyone becuase some may show adault diapers and even condoms! Also if you look down all the way at your feet you can scan your self and get information about Cole.

goodie platter: on the level "the grays", when you leave the monorail, kill the baddies until you get to the 4th room. when there, interact with the alien keyboard (you should hear it say "lifter engaged). backtrack to the monorail and walk on it to the blue thinggy. it will teleport you to a weird room with sharks with machine gun heads (be serious now). kill the sharks (alien tech is usefull here) and turn around to the teleporter. look to your left and right for some serious alien tech (meson cannon and jb grenades), ammo, and other goodies. when you leave the room dont try to get back on the monorail [i wont spoil it for the more curious of you ;) ]
