PS2 TIPS: well, i havent played the sims 2 pets game yet, but i know that if you want your sims to have baby, you have to be married and kiss and woohoo alot in a sim day. Then i think about three days later your sim has a baby. So yes you can get married. Pets can also have babies but i think that the mother and father have to be the same breed..or so i have heard. I cant wait to get my game. Here are some cheats for you all. these i hope work on the PS2 mode and PC mode:

To activate the cheat ghome you must be in the gameplay.
Cheat Ghome: L1 L1 R1 XX UP

after then insert any of these.If its an direction move use the pad not thumsticks :)

More pet points:(During gameplay, after inserted cheat ghome) Triangle,Circle,X,Square,L1,R1

Upgrade Pet Emporium:(during gameplay, after inserted cheat ghome) Right, down, right, up, right,down,right,up

Advance 6 hrs:(During gameplay, after inserted cheat ghome) up,left,down,right, R1

Get 10,000 simoleons:(During gameplay, after inserted cheat ghome) up,left.down.right,circle

go to the town square and go in 2 any shop you want such as pet emporium, pet purveyors,pet toy shop and pet bakary buy any stuff and buy as much as you want if you have the pet points cheat then once you have brought as much as you can go home and go into inventory and sell it exsept the stuff you want then go back to the town square and the shop you went in to buy stuff in should be bigger and better and more stuff inside it worked 4 me
