To keep your balance on a grind, simply get speed jump onto a pole and a little metre will come up. If the little stick in the middle goes left press the right dircetion button a tiny bit or if the little stick goes right press the left directional button a bit.

Press Start to pause game play, then hold L1 and press X(4), Square, X(4), Square, X(4), Square to make your skater more thin. If you entered the code correctly, the pause screen will shake. Note: Repeat this code to increase its effect.


Weight mode
Press Start to pause game play, then hold L1 and press X(4), Left, X(4), Left, X(4), Left to make your skater fat. The pause menu will shake to confirm correct code entry. Note: Repeat this code to increase its effect. Alternately, complete all the goals in the game and get gold medals in all three competitions in career mode with Eric Koston.

Extra points
Press Start to pause game play, then hold L1 and press Square, Circle, Right, Square, Circle, Right, Square, Circle, Right. The level will end with 10,000 points added to your score. To get first place in competitions without performing a single trick, just press Start at the beginning of each round. Enable the "Extra points" code and you will get at least 93 points without a single trick.

Suburbia
Go to the area where there is a quarterpipe connected to the huge quarterpipe. Grind on the rail connecting the two quarterpipes and do a Darkslide. Then, purposely do the bail that makes you fall on your crotch. If you fall correctly, you will land outside, but not have to start over again.

Los Angeles
When trying to do a kickflip over the elevator lobby, you can sometimes get stuck to the wall. You cannot get down, but can still do tricks.


Skaters Island
At the beginning of the level when you start in the halfpipe, jump off the halfpipe back at about the same direction you came from and do a trick into it (not a wall ride). Sometimes you will get stuck. You can continue to do flip, grab, and special tricks as long as desired, which will guarantee a high score. Perform a wall ride to get down and try not to bail. Note: This may require multiple attempts.
