Description:
America's favorite pastime is back for another season.
Batting clean-up in the 2001 season of PlayStation baseball games is 989's own heavy-hitter. The MLB series led off the first full-fledged rookie season for PlayStation baseball games with MLB Pennant Race (now there's a cool bit of memorabilia if you still have it), eventually becoming one of the first polygonal console hardball games. Now in what may be its farewell season for the original PlayStation, MLB 2002 is pointing past the warning track with the most refined baseball gameplay yet.
