How to get a Centaur:
If your year is 80 above(1080)send your monster on an errantry at the Mandy.Your monster should succeed to the four stages in the errantry.You must fight with a wild monster and pick a spear.When you go back to your ranch a centaur will challenge you.The centaur will leave the spear.Use the spear on combining two monsters as an ingredient.
