To clone the good Katanas.
Only Orlandu can do this. The Holy swordsman is the only job that can hold a katana and a shield. Teach him doublesword. Equip a shield to his top hand and the unique katana to the bottom. Go into a shop and select best fit and buy. This will clone the weapon. This allows you to use Masamune and Chirijiiriden as a draw skill without fear of loosing it.

How to make the game harder.
The game can become boring and easy the 15th or 20th time you play through when you have mastered it. Here is how to make it fun and hard again.

#1 Never use any specialty characters, (Agrias, Orlandu, Beowulf) or Ramza's Squire class. They are too good and make the wide variety of jobs to choose from less important. Use The generic ones you get in the beginning throughout the whole thing.

Only use three characters istead of five. This makes things wery challenging and interesting. They will have extremely high levels as a result.

Use 8 or more characters and alternate their use in battle. This gives you infinite ways to combine jobs and expiriment with tactics. All the characters exept Ramza will have wery low levels from distributed use and the game will be much harder.

Don't use cheap items like Excalibur, Stetmenson perfume, angel rings, ext. They are just too good.

Use crappy job classes like thief, time mage, priest, bard, mime and dancer. This will create a very unique and challenging and frustrating experience.

Dont use cheap abilities like blade grasp, auto-potion, double swords, two hands.

Don't pump up your character's brave and faith levels using the mediator and guts skills.

Only use summoners. Regardles if you win or lose, the battles will be very short and you will beat the game at level 25 or 30. This is really fun.

In the desert or in the deep dongeon there are desintigrator traps that lover your level by one. If you get too strong take turns stepping on the traps the weaken your units. This will not effect JP.

FFT is designed to be played an infinite number of times so be creative.

Awsome job combinations.

Summoner with Draw out skill (Draw out is based on magic dammage)
Mediator or chemist with knight skill (this skill is based on weapon distance and is less practical with a cumbersome knight who is more efficient doing blunt dammage than lowering stats.)
Summoner with Math skill (calculators are too slow)
Lancer with item (they often seem to be the last ones left standing so give them ressurection abilities.)
Orical with black or white magic. (This gives you a mage who can actually fight and has a variety of talents.
Anything + time magic (Time mages aren't that great and all their best skills cost around 100jp.
Knight + throw. (they need some distance dammage since they have poor movement).
Monks have great skills on their own so give them less functional specialty skills like talk skill or steal, which are good at times.
