at the very beginning of the game you can get magic like quake, all the -gas, sleep, confuse, water etc. I have my squall currently lvl 30 + but he has quake(100), thundaga (100), curaga (100),blizzaga (100)*ok lets just say I have a lot of powerful magics before the first mission...and for the record... the first mission is actually to get Ifrit.* p.s. I have a lot more too... I'm just too lazy to list it all.

At the near beginning of the game GET THE BEST ATTACK AND HP. FIRST, Learn shiva's ice/water refining ability. Go to the beach outside balamb and fight loads of those little buggars in the sand in order to get AP and fish fins. Once shiva's ability is learned you would be able to convert those fish fins for 20 water spells, thus junctioning them to increase a characters attk from 50-250
Getting High HP: Once you become a seed member do as much as the test to gain loads of money, then learn sirens ability to refine potions and etc. Buy loads of tents, and then convert them to curagas (10 for 1 tent). Junction 100 to hp, and then you will have 3000+ hp in less than 3-5 hours gameplay.

This is the strategy that I came up with to beat sorceress Adel. The party I used had Squall, Irvine, and Zell. Make sure you have the jumbo cactuar gf equipped to one of you charcters. Try to at least have the jumbo cactuar at around lvl 70, and have the revive and recover abilities equipped to you party members. When the fight starts immediatley cast haste, regen, and shell on you party, and cast regen and shell on rinoa. Use jumbo cactuar to do 7000 to Rinoa and Adel, just make sure it doesnt kill Rinoa. After you have used the jumbo cactuar immediately cast recover on Rinoa. Keep doing this and you should have no trouble with Adel. Just remember to re-cast haste, shell, and regen on Rinoa and your party whenever it runs out, and don't foreget to use recover and revive when you parties health gets low or they die.

good way to beat dioblos as soon as u get him!!!!!

basically save! i repeat save! then use the lamp! have attack,magic,gf,and draw with characters, u should have shelphie, squall and zell in ur party, basically just selecet draw then demi then cast on dioblos, keep doing this untill he is defeated, if ur low on health just use shelpies limitbreak and use full cure, i had beat him with 10mins no joke.

Super-glitch

During the fight against Cerberus in disc two, when he casts triple on himself, immediatly use dispell to cancel it. Repeat this 4 times and Cerberus will cast triple on all your party members. Btw, it will take much time that he casts triple on himself four times.

Getting Easy AP:
Right after you are able to fly the Garden go towards Cactuar Island. Right now you can’t quite get to it but you can get close enough to fight Cactuar’s, which give you 20AP each and can appear in groups of four. To get to where you need to go use your world map and put the curser over Timber, then just move it straight down until you get to the last landmass at the bottom of the map. Go here and you’ll find a white building on the edge of the water, head up this continent until you get to an area in the mountain’s that the Garden cant get past, now you have to walk. Just make sure you have [Enc-None] on for now. Go up into the desert and you’ll see an island with a Cactuar popping up all over. This is Cactuar Island. Just walk on the edge of the continent your on as close as you can to Cactuar Island and you’ll get in battles with Cactuar’s. Make sure you keep an eye on your GF’s ability’s. Right now you’ll need to kill them with your “special’s”, or “Limit Break’s” if you havn't ben leveling up because they’re so hard to hit, and your magic will do little. From now on I would head back to Cactuar Island after each new GF you get. Ps: they also run. Have fun!

Infinite Gill:
To do this you must have [Recov Med-RF], and to do this it is much faster you must have Tonberry’s [Call Shop], [Sell High], [Familiar], and [Haggle] ability’s. The first way that most people know of is to buy 100 tents “which refine 4:1 into Mega Potion’s” for $75,000 then making them into 25 Mega Potion’s with [Recov Med-RF]. The Mega Potion’s sell for $7,500 each, making $750,000 after you have 100 Mega Potions. Take that minus the $75,000 “X4 for the four loads of tents” and you end up with $350,000 more than you started with.

The second way is MUCH faster, but you must have been to the “Esthar Shop!!!” It is faster because you make more money, and it takes half the time. Once you have been to this special shop you can buy 100 Cottages “which refine 2:1 into Mega Potions” for $135,000. Then refine two loads of them into Mega Potions to get 100. Sell the Mega Potion’s for $750,000. Take the $750,000 and subtract the $135,000 “X2 for the two loads of cottages” and you end up with $480,000 more than you started with. This way you make $130,000 more than the first way and its twice as fast!

Raising your attributes with abilities and gill:
To do this you will need to have a LOT of gill “10 million + to have any noticeable effect in battle,” and it is best to have been to the shop “Esthar Pet Shop.” You will also need all of these abilities: Call Shop, GFAbl Med-RF, and Forbid Med-RF. HP is the cheapest costing, and easiest attribute to rise. Just buy 100 Giants Ring’s From the shop and turn them into 10 Gaea’s Ring’s with the ability GFAbl Med-RF, then take the 10 Gaea’s Ring’s and turn them each into 1 HP Up with the ability Forbid Med-RF.
So for each of the attributes just use the ability GFAbl Med-RF for the first step, and then the ability Forbid Med-RF for the second step. To get the Cactus Thorn’s and the Curse Spike’s you can fight monsters.

HP= 10 Giants Ring’s = 1 Gaea’s Ring = 1 HP Up.

Str= 100 Power Wrist’s = 10 Hyper Wrists = 1 Str Up.

Vit= 100 Vit-J Scroll’s = 50 Orihalcon’s = 5 Adamantine’s = 1 Vit Up.

Mag= 100 Hypno Crown’s = 10 Royal Crown’s = 1 Mag Up.

Spr= 100 Force Amulet’s = 10 Magic Armlet’s = 1Spr Up.

Spd= 100 Cactus Thorn’s = 1 Hundred Needles = 1 Spd Up.

Luck= 100 Curse Spike’s = 1 Dark Mater = 1 Luck-J Scroll = 1 Luck Up.

Raising your attributes by Devouring:
In this list I am ONLY including the monsters that permanently raise your status, and it only raises the stats of the character using Devour. “All of these fiends must be level 30+ to give these effects.”
Adamantoise: + 1 Defense. They can be found near Dollet on the beaches, and in Ultimecia’s Castle.
Ruby Dragon: + 10 HP. They can be found: on the Island Closest to Hell, in the forest’s by Edea’s house, and in the Deep Sea Research Facility just before you fight Bahamut.
T-Rexaur: + 1 Strength. They can be found: in the Training facility in Balamb Garden, in the forest’s of Balamb “near the fire cavern,” and on the Island Closest to Hell.
Behemoth: + 1 Magic. They are found: in the Deep Sea Research Facility, and around Esthar.
Pupu: + 1 Speed. “I would get its card by giving it the 5 Elixir’s instead.” It is found just north of where your Garden was when it was stationary.

If you want to beat the game fairly easily:
The LOWER Level you are in this Final Fantasy the easier it will be to beat EVERY Boss and fend alike throughout the whole game! Therefore you will want to flee from EVERY battle in the game that you possibly can “with R2 and L2”, in order to gain the least amount of EXP’s possible. A good way to do this is to enter your “Magic” or “Item” command in battle then run, because your enemy cant take action when you are doing this as long as you DON’T click on a specific Magic or Item “such as: Cure, Fire / Potion, Phoenix Down.”

Hint: When [Devour]ing or [Card]ing a monster you gain the usual item’s and AP after the battle, but no EXP. You might want replace the “run rule (as in the above)” with doing this.

Hint: When [Devour]ing or [Card]ing a monster, you have a much higher chance of success if the monster is at low or critical HP.

Hint: When steeling items with the “Mug” command, you always want your best magic junctioned to Luck. You also want “Luck +50%” and “Rare Item” junctioned to the person steeling.

Hint: Your magic determines how much you draw, and your success rate at drawing.

Hint: When drawing magic you want to stock it, not cast it. If you cast from draw the magic will only be about 3/5 as powerful as if you cast’ed it from your stock.

Hint: Boosting “or Pumping-up” your GF’s is done by first learning the ability [Boost], then while you are in battle “summoning your GF” you hold the Select button and tap square.

Hint: Meltdown is a good magic to use on any hard foes or bosses at the beginning of battle.

i found a good way to get 100 Demi from Diablos, first have Squall,Zell, and Selphie in your party equip zell and selphie with Shiva and Siren and put Gf, Item, and draw on them Squall should have gf magic and draw (the magic is so you can tell how many more you need) have squall at least lvl 19 zell 9 and selphie 8, have squall zell and selphie draw and stock as many as possible while casting a few directly on him. When any1 dies quickly use a pheonix down on them and heal try to keep squall alive as long as possible, he'll be doing the most drawing, and use selphies full-cure as long as possible and after awhile you'll have swtocked up 100 demis.
