LEVELING PROBLEMS

When you start the game you get into a battle with two shinra guards. that levels cloud up to 7 and makes him a cut above the rest. When you get barret though, he is only level 6. To get both of them at about the same level, kill off cloud the minute you have barret. then level him up to about clouds level. that way, BOTH of them will be the same level when you fight guard scorpion. This is also a good idea when you get tifa/aerith/red xiii and so on.

As to my previous Sephiroth post, I give full credit to Gamefaqs, which is where I found the debug room guide, and also A Dean, for the wonderfull and specific guide he made.. thank you A Dean, and I'd especially like to thank LZJ who took the time to find all this out and test it himself! I'm just posting to let Siverous know I found another way to unlock Sephiroth. You first need a gameshark (level 7 or higher), then you need to enter the following code: Debug Room - 8009A05C 0041 | 8009ABF6 0041. Okay now start a new game with this code active and you'll wind up in an area with eight blue symbols and Yuffie standing near the southwest symbol. Now walk towards the southeast symbol and you'll enter a room that will have Sephiroth standing to the north. Talk to him and select the last command which is blank. You'll be taken back to the debug room and you'll have Sephiroth in your party. Right now you can't use him so head west but go around the symbols so you're on the outside of them and keep heading west. Now you'll be outside Midgar and Sephiroth will still be in your party. Now save your game turn it off. Then enter this gameshark code: 800F840C 0000. Now load your game with this code active, enter a battle with Sephiroth (first switch Sephiroth to the first position), win the battle then rivive Sephiroth as he will be dead (you'll see what I mean), enter another battle and now Sephiroth will be under your control! To keep using Sephiroth you must kill him before the end of each battle and then revive him before another battle. Oh! And after you revive him he won't be invincible anymore. Now i'm not sure if this is 100% error proof... mainly because i'm still testing it. Also I give regards to.. well I can't remember his name so i'll tell it in my next post. Hope this helps.

Just wanted to list an effective materia combination. Now when I used this combo I had Cloud's Ultima Weapon, Ziedrich, and Tetra Elemental. Okay first combine magic counter and restore (level 2 or 3), then in the next two slots combine final attack and revive (level 2), and then in the third set of slots combine MP absorb and a powerful summon (I prefer Alexander), and in the fourth set of slots combine HP abosorb and the same summon (I still prefer Alexander). With this combo you will automatically heal yourself when injured and revive yourself if killed. Also if you run low on MP just call out your summon and you get MP and HP. Hope this combo helps. And Siverous, I've tried getting Sephiroth using the codes and it worked to a certain extent. See when I get him either my charecters Dissapear leaving only him, or he dies in battle automatically. If you got any tips I'd really appreciate it. By the way, I think they should have dressed Cloud in black instead of purple, and given him a better stance in the game. Just my opinion.

heres an interesting lil thing... im trying to hook up my ps2 controller through a gamemon adapter... and it wont let me use my dpad... i know people like the joystick but i like the dpad... any ideas? i cant shut off the analog light

To get Don cornio to pick you from Tifa and Aeris you have to get all the little parts of his outfit such as the make-up the tiara the wig and dress it is actually funny as you can choose to go along with him and just when u n him r about to get it on the girls come in. lol

To gte Tifa's Final limit break you have to play the song on her piano after mideel is destroyed and you have saved cloud from his own disbeliefs with Tifa in your party.

They put the final limit break for Aeris on the game as originally they where gonna make a sub mission to bring her back to life but they decided against this. that is also why there is a un-accesable area in the Ancient Forest. This is all because they discovered it made the last boss's way to easy.

I have played this game twice or more and beat it, but then I got bored and got some gameshark cheat codes.Ever since then i've been trying to get Sephiroth in my group with the: Sephiroth will replace vincent cheat and the charectar modifier cheat for slot three. The modifier worked but when I went to Kalm where Cloud tells about his past it froze when I was in front of the inn where your other party members appear. If anyone has any tips i'd appreciate it!I'll also answer any questions involving the game!

dos anyone have any idea why you get Aris's final limit long AFTER she dies. even know the atack works
...i know becaus i used some cheats to get it b4 she dies. is there another way to get mithril or something. it dosent seem possible to get it b4 she dis but why would the people who made the game even make the attack?????... im confused

Beat Gi Nattack Easily (Cosmo Canyon Monster)

If you want to beat the Gi Nattack realy eaisly take out an x-potion and use it on him.It's so simple that it's sometimes hard to think of.And there you go one dead creep.
