You're in for the adventure of your life…
"Zax-The Alien Hunter" is a futuristic explorer. He travels alone. His sole, solitary mission: the acquisition of wealth. Or at least it was... because now Zax has crash-landed on an uncharted, hostile planet. With his ship suffering from rampant system failures due to the crash, Zax has no choice but to try and navigate this backwater world until he can acquire the necessary resources to repair his ship and escape with his life.
With no military training, and only his wit and determination to sustain him, Zax relies heavily on the help of Zelon, his ship's artificial intelligence. Zelon serves as Zax's second set of eyes and ears and also supplies him with the items he needs to survive.
He soon discovers that this is a place of ancient religion and wondrous magic. Here, he has but one potential ally - a downtrodden race that is desperate for help. These people, known as the Korbo, live in a primitive agrarian society and worship an angry god.

I would like to know what the secret is to entering codes in PC Zax/Alien Hunter.
It seems like the game does not recognize code entry. Is there a key to press first?

Vase of pure water. I had to restart from the fire ring temple area. I think I had missed a key. When you are in the temple where the korbo is behind the stone pillars you must use a key to get into the area with a door in it, way down to the left of the map. This must be your last quest. You must have the air item and the ring of fire already. You exit to another area do the stuff there, and come back in the small area with gems and a switch in it. The switch opens the stone pillars and you will find the metal spikes guarding the switch near the korbo are down and you can free the korbo and get the other item and the vase of water. Then save and follow the korbo out.
