Use the move objects cheat when your Sim's carpool arrives. Move it into the room your Sim is in. Then type in vroooooooomvrooomvromvrmvrm. Your sim will get into the carpool. The next day, the car will drive into the living room (where mine ended up!) and stay there until the workday ends (mine was 4:00 PM). So you have until your job hours end to do your own stuff! Cool!

A cheat here is very cool. If you want to know how you can change your Sims to grim reaper and all that, here's the steps:

1. Go to the family photo section.
2. Put your cursor on the zoom in/zoom out button.
3. then, press Shift+Ctrl+C and then enter without the quotes:
4. "boolProp testingCheatsEnabled true"
5. An Icon on the right hand corner of the screen will mention that you have unlocked new sims!
6. When you create-a-sim, click on the funky flower shape near the skin tones. You will get to pick from alien and silver skin! So that's what that button was for!!
7. There will also be new outfits, for instance: burglar, military, Social Bunny, skeleton, Grim Reaper, fast food guy, and SO much more.
7. Every once in a while, an icon on the right hand corner will say that Maxis is off debugging mode.
8. Enter the cheat again. Happy Sims2 playing!!!

Hold Ctrl (bottom left hand corner of the keyboard) then press C this will bring up the cheats menu at the top of the screen. After this type in the following:

motherlode = this gives you 50k
kaching = this gives you 1k

the spelling is correct so write it down incase you spell it incorrectly during gameplay! (lots of people do!)

capitalization and spaces matter. once you do this, if you press shift and click on: the newspaper, the mailbox, the trash can, or your sim, you can do a whole bunch of different things. i don't remember what's what but just try it out.

when you do that cheat and shift/click on the mailbox, there's an option that says "make all sims happy."

this increases all your sims needs to almost full. after that, shift/click again on the mailbox, and select "make motives static." this will keep your sims moods up for as long as you want, until you shift/click again on mailbox and select "make motives dynamic."
