This used to be a good game but the economy of the game is kaput, the management of the game is atrosious even to the point of corruption, there are no Gms and definately no public Gms, you have to pay into the game after lvl 25, bot and hacking is rife and there is no account rollback and no protection (gameguard not been paid for for over 18 months), No-Joymax even steal singular items out of your account (protectors) without refund or explanation and can take up to 3 months for your credits (silk) to enter your account, time relative item mall are still counting down while you are offline, in the 4 years of playing and paying this game (Venice Server, AIF Guild Master and 7 characters) I have been hacked 4 times and lost over 200 pounds (there is now an active boycot of the Item mall but no one takes notice) and there is never a refund or a responce from No-Joymax.

And lastly to be fair they do now try not to overload their 3500 players per server (over 30 servers available) and they do regular bot checks (Tuesdays)(over 3000 bots per server).

In saying all this there are invasive and non-invasive) programs to help (Serverlist, Testosterone and others) and a very large fan and exploit base (Projecthax, elitepvpers etc.) to help you get on the servers.

Lol,Silk's starting to die after the bots invaded it,since the bots buy Silk,GM's don't do anything about em.You get KSed by bots almost non-stop,PKed [ Whether or not you're a job ]..Sure the game USED to be what people considered the 'best',but now that all the stuffs happened.Good luck getting on the freakin' game.

P.S - That's just my opinon.

a great game, like others said less well known as runescape, but better anyhow, the only real disadvantage of SilkRoad is that it takes ages to get on the servers, at busy hours that is, you can be busy upto 30-45 mins just to get in..
