On the Halo level in single player make sure there are like 6 to 8 marines kill three quickly if done right they call you a traitor kill more and they will tell you CLEAN THE MUD OFf YOUR VISOR!! kill some more aliens and you get there trust back. also when you get the ammo for your pistol go back to the bridge and kill CAPTAIN KEYES(or any other stupid pilot) and first cortana will say what the*ell are you doing and then a pilot will call marines the marines are invincible but it is fun you can not leave the bridge room though so no escape you can bloodshed them but not kill them

BEAT THE GAME ON LEGENDARY FOR A VERY AWSOME ENDING EVEN BETTER THAN THE OTHER ENDINGS.WELL IT AIN't really a cheat but a treat a reward there is a glitch 2 here it is
at the beginning of the game on legendary the black marine leader will say more funnier thgings like were gonna drown them in their own lead(blood).

the right and there will be a ledge, go on it
and stay crouched. snipe as many covanate
as u can (Snipe out the turrets first) then when they see u jump down and make a run for the turret, when there get in it and blast all the covanat.

Console Commands (Custom Edition)
these cheats are for use only with Halo: custom edition. you will not be able to play online while in devmode. to activate the cheats, open up the properties window of the halo: custom edition shortcut and add "-console -devmode" after the target. put a space between the target line and -console, and another space between -console and -devmode. to open the console, press the ~ key (the button above tab). on the cheats with <#> next to them, type 1 to activate or 0 to deactivate. Always include the _ in the cheats, not a blankspaceCode Effect
cheat_medusa <#> any enemy that looks at the player will automatically die
game_speed <#> change this from 1-20 to make the game run faster. change it to 0 to make the game pause
cls clears the console screen
cheat_bottomless_clip <#> human weapons and the needler never have to reload, and the plasma weapons can not overheat
cheat_infinite_ammo <#> this gives you infinite ammunition for every weapon
cheat_super_jump <#> this lets you jump very high. (should be used with deathless player cheat, otherwise you may die while falling)
cheat_bump_possession <#> this lets you take control of any character you make contact with
cheat_deathless_player <#> this makes you absolutely invincible, even from falling
cheat_all_powerups this spawns one of each powerup around the player
cheat_all_vehicles this spawns one of each vehicle around the player
cheat_all_weapons this spawns one of each weapon around the player, including the flag and oddball skull
cheat_spawn_warthog this will spawn one regular warthog next to the player

Camera Control Mode
ATTENTION: This is for Halo: custom edition Devmode only. To activate Devmode, open the properties window of the halo custom edition shortcut. in the target line add -console -devmode (include the spaces before the -'s), then start a game. while in gameplay, press the ~ key (the one directly above tab), type the commands exactly as shown, including the _'s then press enter after each command. This will seperate the camera from the player and make it controllable. Hold the mouse scroll button down to control the camera
w- forward
s- back
a-strafe left
d- strafe right
r- move up
f- move down
mouse- look/turn
scrollwheel up/down- adjust camera movement speedPassword Effect
cheat_teleport_to_camera Makes the Master Chief teleport to the camera's position, and then gravity will take effect, so don't go too high
camera_control 0 Returns the camera to first person mode
debug_camera_save saves the current location of the camera; used in conjunction with the next command.
debug_camera_load this sends the camera to the location that debug_camera_save was used, seperating the camera from the player

2. From Windows, locate the 'checkpoints' directory for the newly created profile. You will find this in the My Documents folder,

3. In this directory create a text file called checkpoint0.sav with the following text

5. From Halo, select Campaign and Load Game. You should now have access to all the main game levels.

Faster Reload
This should work for all guns that can reload except for shotgun.
Reload the gun, as soon as you see the clip into the gun animation, either switch guns or melee. The reload would save you good time.
Works in all setting, including multiplayer.

Survive Allmost any Drop With any Vehicle
Immediately before you go off any high drop, send your vehicle into a 360 circle turn. This works best with the Warthog or Ghost. You can fall an incredible distance and receive no damage.

Take screenshots
Right click the Halo shortcut on your desktop, and go to properties. On the shortcut tab, add "-screenshot" without quotes to the end of the "Target" box. Remember to put a space before the dash. Click OK, and then run Halo using that shortcut. Once Halo is up and running, you can press the Print Screen key on your keyboard at any time to take a screenshot. The file will be placed in your "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo\screenshots\" folder in TGA format. You can use QuickTime to open it.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Once you exit Halo and open it again, any previous screenshots will be overwritten, so you have to copy any pics you want to keep to another folder.

I have entered " -console -devmode" after the target. But when I start the game and press the ~ key it won't do anything. Can somebody please help. Do I have to press the ~ key while in campaign or while at the title screen.
