Thanks to superskarmory, someone on You Tube, I found out how you can get the thing you want from a Red Mushroom House. Just pause two before what you want.(For example, If you want a Shell, Pause at the big mushroom.)Then, unpause and press double "A" and you should get it.It won't work when you're small, but it will work about 90% of the time.
P.S:Pause at:The Mini Mushroom for the Fire Flower,Fire Flower for Mini Mushroom,Big Mushroom for Shell, and Shell for Big Mushroom.

To get to World 5 from World 1, go to the World 1 Tower. You must have a blue koopa shell on. You know where the checkpoint flag is? There's a secret door near there, with a Star Coin. Enter the secret door. Notice on the right side of the screen that there are two bricks that never close. Hop up there, and walk. You will come to a room. There are some bricks there. To break them, run towards them, and press B while you're running. Break all the bricks. You will see a tube. Hop up while you are still inside the shell, and break the bricks around the tube. Go through the tube, and continue to walk. Enter the World 5 Cannon when you see it.

when u get the white flag on the final castle on world 8.u have to go different ways when u 1st pass it u have to go trugh the bottom one then u go trugh the the top one then last u go trugh the middle one and thas how u get to bowser hope u beat him good luck

Stuck 86, you need to go the right way each time (e.g. top platform) otherwise the screen will repeat itself.

You have to be tiny and beat the bosses at W5 to get to W7 and W2 to get to W4.

Unlockable: Play as Luigi:
Complete the game and save it and select the saved game and hold down both the L and R BUTTONS, then enter A. The green sporting super mario bro is unlocked.
Unlockable: Special Backgrounds:
First you beat the game. Then load the saved file for that game. Go into the blue Toad house now located in World 1. In here you can purchase five different backgrounds for your lower screen. They all cost Star Coins. To get the fift background, you have to get all of the star coins in the through-out all the levels.
Unlockable: Unlimited Toad House Items:
Clear all the levels and lettered bonus levels in the game and save it.
Hint: Extra Toad Houses:
At the end of the levels, jump onto the flagpole and when the last two digits of your countdown timer are the same. For Red Houses, jump on at 11, 22, or 33. For Green Houses, jump on at 44, 55, or 66. And for Orange Houses, jump on at 77, 88, or 99.
Hint: Power-ups:
For more power-ups, go back to World 1 and play the stages with the Red Winged Question mark blocks.
Hint: Warp to World 5:
There's a warp pipe that'll instantly bring you to World 5 from the World 1-Tower. When in the hidden room with the second Star Coin, notice a small gap in the upper-right corner of the room that's never closed by the shifting blocks. You can jump into the gap to reach a hidden area with a 1-Up (smash the invisible blocks as soon as you enter the room). Shell Mario can go one further, breaking the blocks along the floor to reach the warp cannon.
