I have the metal detector in my inventory, I was always there. However when I go to the furnace I get no message to charge it. In fact, when I highlight anything else such as the super drencher, there is a green box around it and the hand icon lights up.
When I do that for the metal detector the hand will not light up and the box around it is red.

What am I doing wrong? Any remedy for this?

Hi I am from the Uk and i have had sims 2 for 6 months and i am stuck on the alfred robot one too. Any way i have got the answers for the last 2 questions.

Cowbell : Go up to one of the cows and it will have an option saying take cow bell. Take it and give it to ava girl.

Mummy's body : Make sure you have got less than 14 furni in your room and then just place the mummy body in your room?
