This is a hint for people who are new to nintendogs.
Tired of waiting while on walks? Touch the dogs lead and pull it up into the air, the dog will start running. If your dog rolls onto its back, just keep doing it until your dog gives in. Presents lying on the floor are more likely to be found, if you come across one, just simply pull your dogs lead back, until your dog finds the present and brings it to you.

I have another "comment" You know how you just try and try and TRY to get tps...why dont you just go for a walk to a discount store that is wayyy better than waiting forever not just to find it isnt it?So next time you go on a walk go to a discount store A.K.A the store looking things on the map of the walk thing.Well there you go P.S i got a dog and had the 500 left right and you go to the store right away and you can get very cool stuff....but it still depends on your tps cuz i have over 800 andi can get the rope and piano...and...you can correct me if im wrong about having to have certain tps:}

when uron ur second or third dog and they have to get used to there suroundings give that pup 2 jerkys and a pullrope.i suggest that any other dogs be out of the house.

if you have alot of items but you want to restart youre game than find a friend to dump youre things on but make a listof what you have first so you dont lose ur items then go to barkmode and get everything back then you have a exremly happy life!

you get about 100-150 trainer points every tim eyou go on a walk. or atleast thats what my game does. why does everyhonr say that you only get like 20???

this might not work but you can give it a go, sometimes if you leave your dogs just on the home menu normaly and wait...might want to just be on the computer while your waiting, but make sure you can here it, and you might just here a siren then go on a walk and you'll find a hat

To get a dalmatian go on loadsa walks an find a fire mans hat if u cant find 1 go on lotsa walks agen and watch closely at the top screen at ur dog. wen ur doggy's icon stops movin but ur dog IS movin on the bottom screen, stop ur dog and walk veeery slowly untill u see a pressie on the floor. walk past it slitely and then tug back on ur dogs lead so it picks up the pressie. repeat until u get the fireman's hat.

ok have you ever seen a present on the floor while walking your dogs wellthe next time u walk ur dogs look on the top screen NOT THE BOTTOM NEVER! bottom and the dogs moves on the top screen and wen the dog stops on the top screen that means a present is goin 2 come or rubbish. if its rubbish get your stylus and pull the leash and it should walk away. if its a present QUICKLY GET UR STYLUS AND PULL IT BACK AFTER THE PRESENT WENT PAST YOUR DOG after a split sec u should get a present and u get better stuff like a meterite worth$15o and which i hav and THE BEST ITEM, IS A PROMISE RING WORTH A WOPPING $1,000 so start walking your dog

wen you are out on a walk pass as many question marks as possible and go to the park, change your accessory and it will save automaticly then turn off your ds and when you turn it back on you will be able to take your dog for another walk
