I found this little glitch in my game. I haven't proven it works in all games, but you should give it a try. Open your backpack and put the charge shield in the Y, X, or A categories. Then, close the backpack and hold down the button for the charge shield. Make sure it's at level three or this won't work. With the charge shield on, move Wilbur toward one of the blue lines that mark the entrance to another area. Once you cross the line and the screen goes black, lift the button. When the screen shows the next area, open the backpack. There should be an X on the charge shield indicating that it is on without your pressing the button. It's helpful when running through areas full of enemies. This glitch doesn't slow Wilbur down like it would when you hold the button and it doesn't drain the energy bar. I think you can use the other gadgets without affecting the shield. But if you press the charge shield's button again, press B, or go to the moniter station, the shield will turn off. You can also go to other areas with this little glitch. I don't mean other worlds, like if you are in Magma Indutries and you go to Queen of the Ants. Also, (and I know this doesn't have anything to do with the shield) the invisibility suit doen't work on bosses, including the T-Rex.
