The switches in the Ghost Ship are a bit confusing... However, the order it says is not the order that you should pull it. Instead, say that the numbers are above the switches, like so:
2 4 5 1 3
- - - - -
1 2 3 4 5
So, the switch you'd pull first is the 4th one, then the first one, then the last one, then the second one, and finally the middle one.
