For PokEe_PriNceSS--The silo is actually a very inportant building, it not just shows you when to restock your fodder IT ALSO stores your animal feed so you don't have to pull some food out of you bag so it saves room in your rucksack. I am VERY ecxpierienced in Harvest Moon games of all kind. I personally think that it's not that bad to invest in the silo-it saves room, it shows precise amounts, and it lets you have easy acces right from the back wall of your barn/coop any time! btw Celia likes all flowers, she loves cake, and don't give her any colored grass.

Since some people don't know when they're gonna get a different colored heart I thought I'd put this up.
The heart colors goes in order as the following.

Black - 0 LP
Purple - 10,00 LP
Blue - 20,00 LP
Yellow - 30,00 LP
Orange - 40,000 LP
Red - 50,000 LP

When you reach the red its when you can marry.

To upgrade your home simply unlock channel 2, and buy a coffee table, clock, beauty box and tool box from TV Shopping. Which requires around 8,000 G. Then call Gotz and ask to renovate your home. You can renovate it 2 times. After your home is renovated, you can add other things in your sweet home. E.G Toilet, bathroom, basement and other furniture from TV Shopping.

To get the kitchen you must first unlock Channel 2 of the harvest sprite channels. To unlock it, you must purchase 1 item from the supermarket everyday for 10 days. Then you must watch Channel 2 daily to check on what they're selling. if the kichen happens to show up then there you go.
here are the rest of the sprites.

Mercury (Channel 1 Weather)- Already unlocked from the beginning of the game

Venus (Channel 2 TV Shopping) - Purchase at least 1 item every day for 10 days from the supermarket

Earth ( Channel 3 Sprite Profile)- Find 20 sprites

Mars ( Channel 4 Farm info) - Ship 300 crops, flowers, milk, eggs, or wool.

Jupiter (Channel 5 DJ) - Buy five records from Jet.

Saturn(Channel 6 News) - Attend 3 Festivals

Uranus (Channel 7 Variety) - Get 100 FP (Friend Points) with anyone in the town.

Neptune (Channel 8 Tutorials) - Already unlocked from the beginning of the game

Pluto (Channel 9 Quiz Show) - Ship 100,000 of the same item.

when it's stormy and if you have the cheat to advance or reverse time, you can call to the poultry farm, yodel ranch, supermarket, etc.
NOTE: if you purchase animals(from the poultry farm and yodel ranch)they will become unhappy the next day.

HeLLo... i'm just a rookie on playing HARVEST MOON DS.. well i know it's for boys but still i'm playing it... if you need some tips here they are:

1. WATERING YOUR CROPS
sometimes you plant so many crops and you plant it so far away from the pond in case your watering can became empty..
Why not build another pond near your crops(you can call gotz but don't call him on saturdays because he is closed on those days..)niw you can refill your w.c many times..

2. ABOUT THE SILO
silo are just nothing and can't do anything to your farm so don't build it. it only displays how much fodder you have.

3. HARVEST SPRITES
sometimes harvest sprites appear when you do various things. one appeared when i chopped a branch near a crop then another one appeared after i used the touch panel on my cat. keep on doing various things or go to places.. you may find one!

I HAVE LOTS OF QUESTIONS!

1.) when i go to the area east of vesta's farm, a harvest sprite stops me. WHY?!

its a bit hard to make someone heart to change colour if you litter everywhere (except your field) or if your animals die, because they know everything what you do, and that will make their friendship and affection points get lower. so instead of litter with unuseful things (weeds, fish bones, garbage...), keep them in your backpack until you ship them, litter your own field, or throw to the garbage can in your house.
if you are lazy to ship it, try to buy the miracle gloves from the casino (for 100,000,000 medals), everything you throw away, it will go to your shiping bin, but you will gain 2 fatigue points each time you use them.

To raise Celia's affection towards you, you can:

1. give her dry curry everyday.
ingredients: rice balls(100G) and curry(50G).

Where to get: ingredients can be purchased at the supermarket.

Cook: on the frying pan, in your farm's kitchen.

2. buy tonnes of seeds from vesta's farm.

* I didnt realise at first cos I was considering Muffy. As i had to plant crops, i buy seeds, and loads of them. One day i talked to Celia (after her black heart event), and realised her heart colour was purple! I was kinda surprised as I didnt really talk to Celia.



I used method two for the first half of year one and when her heart reached blue i started giving her Dry curry. I now have her at a red heart and its only winter in year one. I purchased the blue feather, but the only thing i'm lacking now is 25 more sprites!


oh, and is it true that you need to see all your rival's heart events of the other girls before proceding on to propose?

You get the Stocking by having 200+ fp with nina and in winter give her a ball of yarn on any sunny day. If Nina has already died then you need to raise his friendship level wherein you will experience an event with him and he will give you the sock Nina knitted for you.

1. Purchase the Shipping Basket from Karen's shop for 5000 G. After the basket is delivered throw a shippable item into it.
2. You will receive the horse from Takakura after you have shipped 1000 items. The horse is full grown and will has saddlebags to use for shipping produce. Toss an item into the saddlebags.
3. Ship a Cabbage. You can buy Cabbage Seeds from the Sprite Casino for 500 Medals each. The crop will grow during the Spring season.
4. Ship a Pineapple. You can buy Pineapple Seeds from the Sprite Casino for 1000 Medals each. The crop will grow during the Summer season.
