After you've unlocked the casino and you have found Hops(press A next to the well) buy about ten coins. Go to Hops but don't talk to him yet. SAVE YOUR GAME! Now talk to him to play cards and bet about 5 coins. Return all cards without sparkles. If you only get a pair(two cards with sparkles) then click "double up". You can choose whichever one you like better. I like high and low cuz there's a better chance to win. If you win, repeat process. Remember, you don't have to always choose double up. YOU CAN LOSE, SO BE SMART! Once you have a lot of coins, quit and save. Then talk to Hops again and keep betting 10 coins, and doubling up if you get pairs. You may lose a lot, but soon, if you play right, you'll win it all back or even more. You save cuz if you lose tooooooo many you can load your saved game. Once, I had 670 coins and I bet 10 (putting me at 660). I ended up getting a flush and got all the way to 1110 coins! Yay! When you have a lot of coins, save and go to the counter. Buy something expensive(not recipie books!) and sell it to Van when he comes. EASY MONEY!

an easy way to get loads of money.
[1]get a fishing rod, and this is how you get a fishing rod, on a saturday go to the old folkes home (Galen and Nina) at 11:00am - 1:00pm, but make sure that your equiptment box has nothing in it (the box at your menu where you put your axe and all that in so you can use it )
and then step in their house.
Galen will chat to his wife about that he is throwing away his old fishing rod, but then he gives it to you.
[2]Get the fishing team to fish at the beach, but to get the fishing team, go to your little water hole next to your barn (were the horse lives).
and then fish into it, and Riveria (i thinks that's her name) pops out.
And then go to the sprites tree hirer her to fish at the beach.
BUT IT NEEDS TO BE IN THE WINTER TO MAKE THIS CHEAT WORK!!!

I was playing the game like normal then some how, I don't know what happened, my money went up to 1,000,000,000G. and I don't even have to ship anything and even if i spend it, it will go back up to 1,000,000,000G by 5:00P.M. And even if i save the game and turn it Off then On, it still works! Did I do a code/hack by accident or is it an error? Did it happened to anyone?
