for the best start in firered first pick charamander and when you get to vermillion catch a pidgey etc then trade over your charamander.after this start a new game and repeat this for squirtle. when you start a new game with bulbasaur trade the other two back over. if you train them up evenly there is no need to catch other pokemon like your rival as you will already have a great team. email me if this helps.

to get deoxys go to any pokemart and then do the link together with all thing.... the store person will get an exclamation mark above their head...SAVE!!!.... You need another person and link devices....restart your game go to the menu where the new game screne their will be a new option "mystery gift" click it go to wondergift... then go upstairs in any 2nd flore pokemon center talk to the man he gives you the arura ticket.... sell to island 9....Search for the triangle puzzle, figure it out and deoxys will come at lvl 30 it is still very hard to catch. When you hit throw pokeball hold a and b and you should catch it. Try inflicting it with a aliment for easierier catching.

Or try using a Nest Ball. For easier cathcing for weaker pokemon.

Well, save Lorelei in the Icefall cave of 4 island..and then go to 6 island, make sure u have a Pokemon which has Cut. Get to the dotted hole, cut the door..b4 u reach sapphire a scientist called gideon will steal it... then go the rocket base in 5 island..there u hav 2 reach the scientist and get sapphire and give it to celio

ash, You could keep Articuno instead of Pidgeot.
Charizard..good, no probs..U cud get ridda whirlwind for Crobat, teach it Shadow ball, and if you hav Charizard, why do u need arcanine??

thanks for the rating. i appriciate the advice but i did mention that i havent trained Mewtwo yet hehe. i give you team a 6 out of 5 stars hehe its good you deserve that extra point. as for me wanting a deoxys well i do want one but i have no cheat device or have te ability to go to any nintendo event so im stuck......i only have the basic pokemon ive never gone to an event in my life.
