Description:
Fight like an Animal.
During the Age of Feuding between humans and Zoanthropes, a new kingdom was born upon a dream of peace and equality for both. However, the kingdom relied heavily upon its Zoanthrope army and special brigade of Zoanthrope mercenaries for security and income.
Even more troublesome are rumors of cruel experiments being carried out on Zoanthropes to uncover the secret behind their mysterious ability to transform into fighting beasts. No one could prove that they were actually taking place, much less who was responsible for them. In an effort to bring the nation together and show off the power of their Zoanthrope army and mercenary brigade, the kingdom decided to sponsor the ultimate Zoanthrope fighting tournament.
Take part in this epic contest of wit and skill to win the title "Zoanthrope Champion", and take home a handsome prize. Battle it out as one of 16 unique fighters-each with an alternate Hyper-beast life-form and special attack moves. Face off in challenging 2-player gameplay modes or run the gauntlet through 5 single-player modes. Unlocking Human, Beast and Hyperbeast Modes:
To unlock Human mode, clear arcade mode 14 times. To unlock Beast mode, clear arcade mode 15 times. To unlock Hyperbeast mode, clear arcade 17 times.
Fight as Cronos the Phoenix:
Successfully complete the game two times to unlock
Cronos the Phoenix.
Fight as Ganesha the Elephant:
Successfully complete the game one time to unlock
Ganesha the Elephant.
Fight as Kohryu:
Play the game in arcade mode. Win four consecutive
rounds. You will fight Kohryu in the next round.
Defeat him, then complete arcade mode to unlock
Kohryu the Iron Mole as a selectable character.
Hyper Beast Form:
Press the Z or A + X + Y buttons for Hyper Beast Form.
You can transform into Hyper Beast Form at any time
during the battle. However, if your Beast Gauge is
not flashing, this transformation will cost you health.
The more your Beast Gauge is full when you transform,
the less life you will lose. The following are the
benefits of Hyper Beast Form:
First Beast Drive:
Press Down, Down/Forward, Forward,
Down, Down/Forward, Forward, Beast.
Second Beast Drive: Press Down, Down/Back, Back, Down,
Down/Back, Back, Beast
