Sonic R metal sonic, metal knuckles, tails doll, and egg robo. collect all 5 coins on each level in 3rd place or higher. (you may have to do the board over again)

Sonic r SUPER SONIC. Get all the chaos emeralds on each board and press up on sonic in the character selection screen.

Sonic R eggman. Complete the whole game including the emerald board and unlock all characters.
