Tip for defeating hooktail:Get the curse from the black chest to make you turn flat. Next leave the room. there is a badge in one of the jail cells. Get it and equip it. This badge makes it so that when you attack you will sound like something that begins with "cri and ends with cket"

Here are some basic stylish moves for mario.
1.Jumps
a.normal jump- perform action command and hit [A] at highest point in Jump
b.Power- hit [A] at the highest point in air on FIRST jump (before even hitting enemy)
c.Multi.-hit [A] at highest point over enemies after the first.
(there are WAY more, i'm just lazy like everyone else)
2.Hammer
a.Normal hammer-Hit [A] RIGHT after HITTING enemy to backflip, hit [A] again when coming back down, at mario's height off ground.
b.Power-Basiccaly the same as the a.(Normal hammer) but you can do 3 flips (each higher than the last) and then your 'pose' after landing from last flip. Remember: hit [A] at mario's height on the 'back' of the flip

I know how you can be Wario, Waluigi, or Luigi. Well actually you won't really be them, but you can wear their clothes. To be Wario, wear the W Emblem badge. You can buy it for a very, very, very high price at the Rougeport town square. Get the L Emblem (Luigi's costume) at the Sanctum in Poshley Heights. It's hidden in the second room. If you wear the W Emblem and the L Emblem at the same time, you will be Waluigi. Also, when I was in the Moon Base in Chp. 7, I was battling one of those blue X-Naut guys. He had full HP (9/9). When it was his turn, he used a potion to recover 10 HP! That was very stupid of him! Also, if you want to know how to upgrade a partner twice, you just have to find a certain item called the "Up Arrow." To get this, you must have Bobbery as a party member. Go to Hooktail's Castle. Remember that room with all the spikes? Well go to the other side from where you came. You'll see a crack. Use Bobbery's bomb move to break the crack. Jump up and hit the blue block. A chest will appear. Open it to find the Up Arrow. Take this to
Merlon. You will be able to upgrade one of your partners which you have already upgraded! I like Yoshi's move where he calls a herd of other Yoshis. You need to double-upgrade him to get that. Double-upgrading a partner costs the same as single-upgrading one (3 Shine Sprites). By the way, I named my Yoshi, "Yuboo." Don't steal that name. By the way, people who have played the original Paper Mario might've noticed that you can only get your maximum HP to 50. In the new version, it can go much higher. By the way in battle, you always get at least 1 star point. Even if you are level 30 and you're up against a Goomba, you will get at least one. So remember everyone. Vote George W. Bush. LOL. Not JK (John Kerry or Just Kidding.) Kerry is a fairy. All terrorists would vote Kerry.

Immediately after a hammer attack, or at the highest point after a jump attack, tap A again and Mario will do a trick earning him more star points. This also works for his allies. Tap A directly after doing Koops shell throw and he will spin on his back gaining even more style.
