I think a brilliant combination would be baby luigi and one of the koopas. (Possible interchange baby luigi and toad.) With fast speed and triple shells or a chain chomp and triple shells or fast and chain chomp is a good idea in my book.) With the light Koopa Kruiser I think it is called. You unlock King Boo and Petey Pirahna by beating the 150cc mirrored cup star cup. And what the heck do you mean "angel"?
I beat the game on every difficulty and never once saw an ANGEL. What gives?

When I was in 1st place, an angel was coming after me. Little did I realize that I didn't have to use the boring hard way to block an angel. If you want to know my easy new discovery way, pay attention. If an angel is right on your tail (ready to flip you), and your by a spedy colorful thing, go on it. That way the angel cant attack you, because it cant keep up with you. I,ve done this cheat alot, and Im 99.9% sure this will work for you.
