The Powerpuff Girls 3: Battle Him features the caring Bubbles, who saves ally characters and averts impending disaster while the other two girls are in reserve for super attacks. The side-scrolling game has multiscreen maps in which our heroine dodges obstacles, collects power-ups, destroys enemies, and ultimately fights the featured villains to save Townsville. The villainous Him, Seduca, and Mr. Mime all use evil psychological tricks to attack Bubbles's sensitive nature. Players can collect and trade electronic game cards with a friend's copy of the game via the separately sold Game Boy Link Cable, as well as engage in two-player head-to-head action. Secret passwords unlock new game features, including trading cards and hidden powers.
