The popular cast of Disney's Beauty and the Beast arrives on Game Boy Color. Roll the die and journey around the board on your way to the Beast's castle, land on board spaces that call upon you to play different mini-games such as Beauty and the Beast trivia, a challenge from the evil Gaston, or receive a bonus. This game was developed by Left Field Productions, produced by Disney Interactive, and published by Nintendo. It follows the excitement of the feature film with a board game style. The characters you know and love from the movie are reproduced on the Game Boy Color with colorful art and playful animation and the style of play is reminiscent of your favorite childhood board games. Play either the "one to four player board game," or the " one player story board game". The board game is set up to allow four players to alternate between challenging mini-games, in the story board, race against Gaston in an attempt to warn the Beast of the approaching mob. Players can also complete in mini-games as individual challenges and open new areas by completing the story board game and practice games.
