if u need to get past the swiggly tree all u have to do i get the squirtbottle from the house next to goldenrod gym(after winning goldenrod badge) and u use the squirtbottle on the tree, and it will attack. It is a level 20 Sudowoodo.

To answer your question, if the machine part is stolen from the power plant, then you fly to cerulean city. Go up the path toward where you would typically get the nugget and battle the theif. Once he is defeated, go into Misty's Gym and surf around in the center water section. On the top left of that section, you will find the machine part. Take this back to the power plant and give it to the man at the very back by the machines. Then go to lavender town and talk to the man in the tower. He will give you a card that will give you more radio stations. One of these plays lullibies. Go to snorlax and play the station with the lullaby. This should wake him up.

Yo!,
To get to the 9th gym(You can do the gyms in random order in Kanto)you have to beat the Elite 4 and you get S.S. ticket from,I think, Professor Elm and then go to Olivine City to the S.S. Aqua and go to Kanto. Then go to whichever gym you want.

To breed pokemon you need to go to a day care deposit a female eg pikachu then talk to the other person and deposit a male which is compatable with it egPikachu and meowth leave it there for a while and come back for it if one of the people is outside there is an egg if not come back for it later Note: you have to pay to get your pokemon back

1st - Start a new game and save it b4 u choose a pokemon.

2nd - Choose one pokemon.

3rd - Get the pokedex, fight with your rival, go to Elm's Lab, answer the questions and get the 5 pokeballs.

4th - Catch a pokemon.

5th - Go to the Poke Center, deposit your starting pokemon then change the box. When it says 'SAVING, DON'T TURN OFF THE POWER...' quickly, switch your gameboy off.

6th - Turn your gameboy on. In the main screen choose 'CONTINUE'.

7th - Repeat from step 2 allways choosing different starting pokemons untill you have done with all the three of them.

Now Catch a Fighting,Pyschic And dragon pokemon

i caught lugia buy makin clones of master balls if u dont now how ot do this get the master abll from elm after getting first 8 badges then go to a pc, have your best pokemon hold the master ball,save, deposit the pokemon holding masterball then change box, when it says do you want to save say yes, when it is saying "Saving... don't turn off the power" turn it off when the word power is coming up then turn it back on and you will have your pokemon in your party holding the master ball and one in your pc holding the masterball do this as much as you want
