Pewter City is in the same place as its always been. You need to go to the radio tower talk to one of the guys in there and they'll give you something for your radio then go to the electric pokemon gym city and go to the right onto the route. You'll find a Snorlax and play the pokeflute on the radio beat/catch it go through the cave you'll be near Pewter city go through the past Viridian forest through Viridian city and you're in Pewter city.

POKEMON - GOLD VERSION CHEAT : HAVE TWO POKEMON AND A BABY!

ok, first go to a Pokemon Center (any Pokemon Center). Now log on the "PC". Put a Pokemon in a box. Now log off the "PC" and go on to save and when it says "DONT TURN OFF THE POWER"! Do it anyway.

Now turn your GAME BOY back on. OH MY GOSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A CLONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now go to day care, I'll use a Cyndaquil as an example, now start trading Pokemon with Silver or Crystal Game. On the other game it MUST have a Cyndaquil. DO NOT TRADE YOUR CYNDAQUIL! Trade something like a Bellsprout.

One Cyndaquil must be a boy and the other must be a girl. Leave them at the day care for while. They have baby Cyndaquil!!!! Get it from the day care man.

Congratulations!!!!
