you can't get a g/s ball, and you can only get celebi if you have the japanese version, or if you are lucky enough to go to a tour. the pokemon center shop in new york has adapters that let you officially catch it, but you have to buy celebi. in the japanese version, prof. elm gives it to you if you have all 250 other pokemon.

Catch Celebi!

Go to the pokemon center at Goldenrod city and go up the stairs on the left hand corner go ro the 3rd nurse on the right. She will talk about the time capsule.Then leave and then go back in and talk to her again and she'll give you a gold apricorn. Take it to Kurt the next day he'll give it back. It will become a gs ball. then put in in the ilex shrine then a level 30 Celebi will attack you.

How do you get celebi and what does this mean?Hook up the mobile adapter. Go to the communication center in Goldenrod City, and read the message on the lockers to the right of the room. They will talk about a present from the future. Leave and the blue-haired nurse will ask you to defeat all sixteen gyms in order to obtain the GS Ball.
Once you have done so, give the GS Ball to Kurt. The next day, he will give it back. Put it in the shrine in the Ilex forest and a level 30 Serebii/Celebi will attack you.
