To get Mew you need HM fly and a Great Ball. First go to Celadon City and go through the underground path to Lavender Town. Right when you exit the underground path building go down 1 pace and INSTANTLY pause your game. Go to pokemon and select the one that knows fly. Fly to Cerulian City and you'll notice that the a and b buttons don't work. Go up nugget bridge and head for bills house. on the way there try talking to everyone until someone battles you. It will be a youngster with a slowpoke. defeat him and fly to Lavendar Town. Finally while you leave Town in the derection of Saffron City the pause menu will open. get out of it and a wild Mew will apear. The only way to catch it is via great ball(even a master ball wont work)

To get xp share you have to frist chacth the red groudos and you get the red scale and you go to the pokemon maters house and give it to him.

To catch mew on red or blue version u have 2 start a new game and go through the game until u beat Brock the second gym leader. On your first time going down the path to the cave where the rockets are first introduced stop at the grass where u catch a Jigglypuff.Catch one and train it until it evolves into a Wigglytuff or give it a Moon Stone and make sure that it has a Speed of 25 and that still knows Sing.Go to Cerulean City and make sure u fought everyone but the guy in the grass across from the bridge and the guy with the Slowpoke.Use the Wigglytuff's Sing to catch an Abra.Now go and stand just far enough away from the guy to where he can't see u and save becuase it might take u a couple of tries.Now take a step forward and push Start right before he can see u and use Abra to Teleport back to the Cerulean City Pokemon Center.Your Start button will be enabled.Go back up the bridge and go up against the wall so u can battle the guy with the Slowpoke.Beat him and then you will be able to use your Start button again.Now use Teleport again and go back up the bridge on the left side and your Start screen will pop up.Push B and you will get into a battle with Mew.The only way to catch it is by using Wigglytuff's Sing.
